Rapports annuels et perspectives

This report, published by the United Nation’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), takes stock of the humanitarian operations that were implemented in the Sahel in 2015 as a part of the 2014-2016 humanitarian response plan. In 2015, donors allocated USD 1.2 billion to the region, which permitted them to fund about 100 organisations in nine countries. The interventions were mainly directed at the fight against food insecurity in the Sahel, particularly in the conflict zones of Mali and the Lake Chad Basin where instability and violence have, however, been obstacles to operating in the region.
